Today in Language we were practicing European accents. Specifically, Scottish, British, Italian and Irish. Mrs. Trouse gave us specific exercises and papers with a conversations on them with certain accents and told us to partner up. I looked around for a partner and saw a guy I hadn't seen before sitting next to me. "Hey" I smiled. "Do you have a partner already?" I asked.

I was planning on just chilling by myself, maybe the teacher wouldn't notice and I could just sit there and do nothing. But unfortunetly a girl asked me to be her partner. Hey, at least she was kind of cute. "Fine." I sighed and put my feet up on the desk. "I'm Rory, by the way." I said, playing with my pencil and trying to avoid work.

I rolled my eyes at his not wanting to work. "Look, don't complain about having to have a partner. I was just told I have to have a roommate after 5 years of not having one and being told I wouldn't have to have one." I said with a slight smirk. I held out my hand. "Charlotte" I added.

I smirked. "Thanks for telling me all your problems." I said sarcastically. "Your room mates probably my sister, Quinn. We're like the only new people here." I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks for being so caring." I said in the same sarcastic tone. I nodded. "Yeah. She seems nice" I shrugged. I grabbed the paper. "You can start." I smirked handing it to him.

I sighed, hating having to do work. I looked over the script for one second then dropped it on my desk. "Would you like a crumpet with your tea, Miss?" I asked with a smirk, ignoring the script. Although I was being sarcastic my accent wasn't half bad, I did grow up in Europe after all.

I smirked at him. "No thank you, sir. Im not much of a crumpet person, but it would be quite lovely if you followed the script." I said in my British accent looking him in the eyes. I had done this assignment every year and had pretty much mastered it but I didn't want to make Mrs. Trouse mad. I honestly respected all of the instructors here.

I rolled my eyes. "So you're a goody two-shoes, huh." I looked down at the paper for a minute and finally said something from the script. "There. That good enough?" I asked with a smirk once I finished.

I laughed. "Not at all actually." I said. "Maybe in class, but thats because the instructors are my family." I shrugged. I looked at him. "Better. You're not halfway bad" I smirked

"Why, thank you, princess. That means a lot coming from you." I said sarcastically. A second later I smirked. "I better be good. I grew up hearing that dumb Irish accent." I hid the bit of pain I felt when I talked about home. It hadn't been that long but I honestly missed it. But she didn't have to know that.

"Then maybe you should stop acting like you're perfect." I said with a smirk. A second later the teacher dismissed us. I jumped up and left almost immediately. Honestly I didn't know which class I had next or if I even had another one right away. But I didn't really care. I snuck around by myself and found a quiet grassy spot behind an old building. Laying on my back, I took a rock and tossed it in the air. It was nice to be alone for a while, but for all I knew someone here was following me.

I opened my mouth to protest the perfect thing but the bell rang. I got up and walked to my next class which was Comp.Science. "Does anybody know where the new student Rory is?" the instructor asked. Everybody shook their heads. "Charlotte, will you please go find him. He's probably lost" He asked. "Yeah......Lost." I repeated. I had actually seen him leaving the building. I walked through the doors and slowly walked around the building. Quietly I peeked around the back and saw him lying there. He didn't see me (as he was facing the other way) so I figured Id mess with him. I grabbed a small rock and threw it hitting him in the shoulder and hid back by the side of the building.

When I felt the rock hit me, I turned around. "Hello?" I called out. No one answered. Maybe it was just a bird, but I wanted to inspect it anyways. I wandered the way it came but saw nothing. I was about to go back but when I turned around my face was inches away from Charlotte's. It shocked me for a second but I hid it from her. "Well I didn't expect seeing you here." I said with a smirk, not backing away.. I grabbed her hand, which had a rock in it, and took it out.
