I looked at him. "I know....I'm sorry." I shook my head taking a drink. "She was wasn't she." I smiled. Just then a guy bumped into me. He looke about my age and wasn't bad looking. He said sorry and sat down next to me. "It's alright." I smiled.

He told me his name was Alex and we made small talk for a minute. Mostly he kept complimenting me. I smile and blushed. "Thanks." I laughed.

I looked over at him. "Oh....okay." I said to Remy. I turned back to this guy. After we talked a bit more he said something like - "I really like you Charlotte." And I laughed. "You don't even know me." I replied. He looked at me and leave forward. "But I still like you." He said with a twisted smirk and grabbed my hand. I gently pulled it away. "I've got to find my friend...." I sai not wanting to talk to him anymore. "He seemed to be enjoying himself without you." He said a bit bitterly. He brushes his thumb across my cheek and I leaned away but when I stood up to leave he grabbed my arm and pulled me back down and kissed me. I pushed him away a bit. "What are you doing?" I snapped.

As I walked back over to Charlotte, I saw the guy getting closer to her. I stopped for a second behind him before he grabbed her and pulled her into a kiss. When she pushed him back, I grabbed his shoulder and pulled him to his feet. "I don't think she want's you touching her." I said firmly. "I don't think you know what you're talking about." He snapped back. I locked my jaw angrily. "It's time for you to leave." I said through clenched teeth. The guy shook his head. "No. It's time for you to go to sleep." Before I had time to react his fist met my left eye. I took a step back to steady myself before lunging for me. I wasn't much of a fighter but I would to keep Charlotte safe. I grabbed the guy by the collar of his shirt and shoved him against the bar. "Don't ever touch her or me again." I shoved him to the ground and gave him a good kick in the side before taking Charlotte's hand and leading her out. I turned to her as soon as we got back outside. "Are you okay?" I asked quickly, disregarding the pain that was setting in to the left side of my face.

When Rem came over I was about to tell him everything was fine seeing as it wasn't going anywhere good, but then the guy said something stupid enough to really piss him off and thy started fighting. The bartender and I yelled for them to stop but Remy just finished it up and pulled me outside. I looked at him when he asked me if I was ok. "Are you?" I asked in reply trying to get a look at his eye.
