"Parents bought it for me." I admitted. "Figures." I heard Kat mutter. "It's not like that Kat. I got into a car accident and trashed my other car." I explained.
Kat
I lifted my head with wide eyes. "You what? Carter, why wouldn't you tell me that?" I asked. "Because I didn't want you to worry." He replied. I sighed as we pulled in to the small restaurant.

"For the car yes, but I just had a few cuts and bruises and a sprained wrist. Nothing bad." I said and hoped out of the car.
Brady
When we went inside I looked at Kat. "Why don't you get us a few drinks while we wait?" She gave me a knowing look. "I really don't want to." She said. "We'll be fine." I assured her. She sighed before walking off and I turned my attention back to this Shane kid.

Oh no he sent Kat off. Did this Brady kid not like me?? I watched her walk away and I turned towards them awkwardly.

Why would they NEED to talk to me? I didn't argue though so I went and sat down across from them. "You know I really like Kat. I wouldn't do anything to hurt her." I stated sincerely.

I nodded. "Look Carter's the nice one. He's your friend. You've won him over, and me? I don't mind you but I'm here to give you a warning." I said locking my eyes on him. "If you ever hurt Kat, and I don't just mean emotionally, but if you ever lay hands on her and make her uncomfortable, I will take my hockey skates and skate across your face, then beat you with my hockey stick. You can expect both Carter and I to pummel you until you are six feet in the ground." I said firmly.

I walked over and set the drinks down. I looked from Shane to Brady and scowled at Brady. "What did you say to him?" I asked with a huff. He threw up his hands. "Nothing just talked about some of my hockey equipment." He said still smirking I shook my head. "You two are awful sometimes." I said. "But you still love us." Carter teased. I smiled slightly and rolled my eyes. "Only because I have to."

I raised an eyebrow. "Well considering Kat is from Massachusetts and Carter is her brother and I've known Carter since we were kids, so Massachusetts." I shook my head. "Now we both live in New York for college." I said.
